The Trades Council has a new social legislation officer.
Angela Moffatt takes over from Peter Murcott.
Mrs Moffatt, the daughter of Bernard Moffatt, is currently the Island official for the Union 'Prospect', the Island's first full-time female official.
She pays tribute to Mr Murcott's work, saying her aim is to maintain and improve workers rights on the Island.
She has previously held the role.
