There's a new service for people in the Isle of Man who are struggling to come to terms with having cancer.
The Psycho-Oncology service is a pilot scheme which aims to reach the 10-15 per cent of sufferers who have severe problems adjusting to news of their illness.
Clinical Psychologist Professor Robin Davidson will come to the Island for two days a month to work with both individuals and their families, and in the near future a counsellor will also be appointed.
The scheme is being funded by the Isle of Man Anti Cancer Association and is run by the DHSS with assistance from the charity Manx Cancer Help.
