It's the latest addition to Douglas City
There's a new addition on Douglas Promenade roundabout at the Sea Terminal.
It's the latest addition to the city council's lighting scheme for the prom.
Peveril Island as it's called, is a sculptured column designed by a lighting specialist, which will, it's stated, provide a focal point for passers-by and passengers arriving on the Island with the Steam Packet.
The column incorporates the Three Legs symbol in what's described as a modern style bracket and lantern array.
The Three Legs is mounted on a triangular column, with two sides containing a laser-cut script incorporating an Archibald Knox design.
The scripts and the design will be illuminated from within.
