The final sitting of Tynwald before the general election begins with the important task of choosing a new president.
Clare Christian MLC and Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan are confirmed as candidates to replace Noel Cringle, who is stepping down after eleven years in the position.
It's thought chief minister Tony Brown may also put his name forward.
To secure the position a candidate will need the support of the majority of Tynwald members, or 17 votes.
The July sitting of Tynwald starts at 10.30am today (Tuesday).
