New political members join health department

Minister Without Portfolio among those appointed to DHSC

Three new political members have joined the Department of Health and Social Care.

Minister Without Portfolio Tim Crookall, Middle MHK Stu Peters and MLC Diane Kelsey join Peter Reid, who was appointed last month.

Minister Jane Poole-Wilson and David Ashford have stepped aside after serving on an interim basis since November.

Health Minister Claire Christian says she hopes the refreshed political team will focus on what matters to the public.
