Caller claims to be from BT
It's understood a new telephone scam has been targeting some residents.
Reports on social media have described a cold caller, claiming to be from BT, advising of security issues with internet connections.
Users who've received the calls say they are presented with several options.
Cold calling was outlawed on the Island in 2016.
Police continue to advise anyone in receipt of an unsolicited phone call to simply hang up, and report any suspicious activity.
