Charity chairman says it will have 'a profound positive impact'
A charity that provides support services to individuals and families affected by addiction has a new patron.
Motiv8 says it's delighted that Lieutenant Governor, Sir John Lorimer has agreed to join the charity, showing his commitment to lifting the stigma that surrounds addiction so that more people can ask for help.
Charity chairman, Gary Lamb, told Manx Radio it will have a profound positive impact.
Sir John recently visited the charity to meet with the team and talk in depth about how they work both individually and in support of the mission of the charity.
