The new mayor of Douglas says she's proud to represent the capital.
Carol Malarkey was sworn in at a ceremony at the town hall this afternoon.
Stan Cain takes up the role of deputy mayor.
Mrs Malarkey says she has a few priorities, now she's in her new position:
