Budding linguists will have the opportunity to start learning a bit of Manx next week.
There are new beginners classes starting at the beginning of February, in St John's and Port St Mary.
On Monday 4 February, one class will have its first session from 6:15pm to 7:15, at Culture Vannin in St John's.
On the Wednesday, 6 February, there's also a class getting underway in Port St Mary at Cornerhouse Coffee on Bay View Road, which takes place from 6 until 7 in the evening.
Also on Wednesday 6 is the first in a series of short courses run by Jamys Harrison, from 7:30-8:30pm at Culture Vannin.
This instalment will be about how to use verbs in the future tense, and will last for eight weeks.
