DESC appoints new arts boss
Culture minister Graham Cregeen has confirmed a new manager of the VillaGaiety complex has been appointed.
Mr Cregeen told a Tynwald scrutiny committee this afternoon that the post has been filled, but did not reveal the name of the successful candidate.
His department took control of the complex last year, after a transfer of functions from the Department for Enterprise (formerly DED).
The role was advertised earlier this year with a salary of up to £52,000.
