The Enterprise Minister believes two new flight routes from Ronaldsway will be a boost to both the visitor and business economy.
This week saw the start of two new services being offered by Loganair to London City airport and London Heathrow.
Dr Alex Allinson says work will take place over the summer in a potential bid to attract more airlines to Manx shores.
But he adds there are numerous factors involved with that:
