Construction of a new ferry terminal in Liverpool will cost up to £30m.
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed it's agreed a deal to build a new facility at Princess Half Tide Dock, which is expected to open by 2021.
The project is still subject to approval by Tynwald and will have to go through the planning process.
