
The new leader of the Liberal Vannin Party says her main objective will be getting a credible candidate for every constituency in the next General Election.
Kate Beecroft was elected to the post on Sunday after Peter Karran announced he would stand down.
The South Douglas MHK was unanimously chosen to succeed Mr Karran, who has led the party he founded since 2006.
Mrs Beecroft says whilst she wants to see more Lib Van candidates, they will have to be of the right calibre . . .
