
The new head of Unite is vowing to support working people in the Island.
Eric Holmes was speaking after the union confirmed he’s been appointed regional officer for the Isle of Man, a role he’s carried out on an interim basis over the past five months.
Unite represents 10 per cent of the Island’s work force and Mr Holmes says it’s important pay and employment conditions of its members are vigorously protected:
