Max Kelly seemingly will now lead four Island schools
A new headteacher has been confirmed for Scoill yn Jubilee in Douglas.
Max Kelly will be taking on the role from September, once current head Adrian Shorthouse steps down.
Mr Shorthouse announced the move last month in a letter to parents and carers.
Mr Kelly is currently head at Dhoon, Laxey and Willaston.
Both men were placed in charge of five schools between the two of them, back in 2022.
In another letter, seen by Manx Radio and sent to parents and carers today (26 June), Mr Shorthouse says: "[Mr Kelly] brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to providing the very best for all children.
"I am confident that Mr Kelly will lead the school with a clear vision, warmth and ambition for every child's success."
Manx Radio has contacted the Department of Education, Sport and Culture for comment.
