Relocation package of £7k and £3k recruitment incentive on offer
Manx Care is attempting to recruit someone who can play a ‘pivotal role’ in enhancing midwifery services on the Isle of Man.
It’s searching for a new head of midwifery who can ‘directly influence’ the health and wellbeing of the Island community.
The successful candidate will be paid between £68,000 and £84,000 each year.
The health body says it can offer higher salaries compared to the UK along with annual salary increases which ‘extend beyond UK NHS pay scales’.
It’s also offering six months of accommodation at a reduced rate, a relocation package of up to £7,000 and a £3,000 recruitment incentive paid in the first, thirteenth and twenty-fifth month of employment.
The current head of midwifery, Barbara Roberts, has held the post since 2019.
