Facility opened on Integrated Women, Children & Families Ward
It's thought a new gynaecology clinic room will help increase capacity on the Integrated Women, Children and Families Ward at Noble's 'significantly'.
Having opened this week, Manx Care says it should help provide 'timely, sensitive and dignified care' to women attending for a range of gynaecological procedures.
The creation of the room has been made possible thanks to the support of the Friends of Noble's Hospital charity.
Clinical Director for Women's Health, Tony Stock, explains what a difference it will make:
Attendees of the opening:
- Jackie Carter- Gynaecological Oncology Cancer Support Worker
- Kate Butler- Sonographer
- Cat Tracy - Gynaecological Oncology CNS
- Mr Stock- Clinical Director for Obs & Gynaecological
- Kira McAteer - Directorate Manager for Women, Children & Families
- Jenny Padley -Director of Friends of Noble’s & Steve Zybert, Chairman of Friends of Nobles
