A list is being drawn up for a five-year plan of improvements at Noble's Park, and Douglas Borough Council is inviting suggestions from anybody who would like to contribute.
Initial ideas include go-karting, exercising equipment, a boating pool and the creation of wetlands.
Chairman of Leisure Services Stephen Pitts says the aim is to increase the use of a valuable asset by making it a more attractive place to go.
And, despite the current economic climate, he is confident at least some of the facilities will be provided (play audio file):
