Members of the public are being asked to contribute to a major exercise to update all the bye-laws in Douglas.
A document has been circulated to all members of Tynwald for the town and ratepayers are being invited to make their views known.
The proposed bye-laws can be examined at the town hall, where copies are on sale.
Council leader, David Christian, says the next step will be to enforce the rules and regulations far more rigorously (audio file attached):
