Planning submitted for new shops
An oft-overlooked part of central Douglas could be due a boost with plans for a number of new shops.
The Douglas Head Industrial Estate - currently home to Magnet and Ace Carpets - could gain a new joiners' workshop, furniture warehouse and café bar, if planning permission is approved.
It's hoped the development will create six new jobs.
Restoration firm The Tradesman Group is behind the idea.
