Local authority says it 'recognises' the change will affect people's plans
Ramsey Commissioners has changed the date of its firework display this year due to 'logistical reasons'.
It was originally due to take place on Saturday 1 November, but will now take place at 7.30pm on Sunday 2 November.
A number of local businesses have criticised the move, but the local authority says the reasons are 'beyond its control'
It adds that it 'recognises' that the change has affected a lot of people's plans, but the issue is 'genuinely' out of its hands.
