Addition receives backlash on social media
A bus/cycle lane has been introduced on a busy road in Douglas.
The new addition can now be found on Glencrutchery Road going southbound after being implemented by the Department of Infrastructure yesterday. (14 June)
It's a sparked a number of negative comments from the Manx public when the Island's Roads Policing Unit posted about the lane on its social media page.
In the post it asks drivers and cyclists to please 'acquaint yourselves with the new layout and be aware of other road users'.
