Paul Costain was invited to the position by the Isle of Man's Lieutenant Governor
The new Captain of the Parish of Rushen has been announced.
Paul Costain is a popular figure in the agricultural sector, and is described as 'extremely active' in supporting his local community.
Mr Costain runs Moorhouse Farm in Colby with his partner, and has also won the Cleveland Medal at the Manx Music Festival on three separate occasions.
The replacement comes following Stan Clucas CP's retirement from the role earlier this year after serving for 25 years.
