Long serving board of education member for Peel, Betty Deans, yesterday opened QE2's new building, named in her honour.
The extension is the culmination of many years of pre-planning, and boasts an all new English Department, vast improvements to both music and drama, and a large multi purpose dining hall.
Headteacher Sue Moore (pictured) says the building was long overdue, and will benefit the students greatly:
