Structure spans crossing to Mann
The new Laxey Bridge has been shipped to the Isle of Man this morning (5 May).
Its predecessor was destroyed by flash flooding last December.
The single-span ‘pepper pots’ structure was delivered from Belfast by Mezeron vessel Silver River.
Island Drainage and Groundworks and the Department of Infrastructure will piece the bridge together on site.
