It is likely to be over budget
A new leisure centre opening in Braddan next year is 'running over' the original budget.
At the start of the project it was budgeted to cost £6.7 million pounds but the commissioners hope it will come in under £7.5 million.
The centre, which is being built in Strang, will have facilities such as a sports hall, yoga and exercise studio, nursery and also a pharmacy.
There are also plans for a 500 metre long walking and exercise track as part of two acres of open green space.
As part of the development the commissioners are also seeking expressions of interest for sports and community groups who would like to use the facilities.
