Manx Care attempting to stop DNA's
Manx Care is going to pilot 'partial booking' in Noble's Hospital's orthopaedic department.
It's in an attempt to tackle high numbers of people not attending their appointments.
The system - which gives people an estimated date - was introduced in the UK by the Department of Health in 1999.
Director of Operations Oliver Radford explained some of the reasons for missed appointments at yesterday's board meeting:
Part of Old Castletown Road closes for manhole cover work
MHK behind 20mph motion 'never intended' for there to be a blanket limit
BBC Channel Island stations to end medium wave transmissions
