
It's a hugely significant day for the Christian church in the Isle of Man.
The new Bishop of Sodor and Man will be enthroned at Peel Cathdral this afternoon (Saturday) before a packed congregation of around 700.
Young people will feaure prominently, with an array of musicians and two youth choirs performing, along with a Manx harpist.
The Right Reverand Robert Paterson (pictured) will break with tradition after his enthronement and make an historic journey to St Patrick's Isle.

Bishop Robert's first sermon in the Island, at Malew on Thursday, will be broadcast on tomorrow morning's 'Praise' with Judith Ley.
His enthronement service can be heard on our FM network tomorrow (Sunday), from 9pm.
