Barber says it doesn't need to 'reinvent' wheel
Stronger sentences are needed for people on the Isle of Man who are guilty of mistreating animals.
That's the view of the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister who says a new Animal Welfare Bill has to be a 'priority'.
Earlier this year a draft bill - designed to overhaul existing legislation - was thrown out of the House of Keys after complaints that it wasn't fit for purpose.
