Gary Cobb is due to take up the position at Ronaldsway in August
The new airport director will be able to claim up to £10,000 to fund his move to the Isle of Man later this year.
Former Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall confirmed Gary Cobb will be able to submit receipts to claim back the cost of relocating for his new position.
Mr Cobb is due to take up the post in August.
Mr Crookall insists this figure is in line with the civil service scheme to bring workers from outside the Isle of Man into Island-based roles:
