Union insists industrial action remains the last resort
There are worries keeping Steam Packet workers on the Manxman as part of proposed new conditions to their employment will affect the local economy and disband communities.
Maritime trade union Nautilus has spent the last week on the Isle of Man meeting members to gauge their feelings amid an ongoing dispute.
The union claims they've been threatened with 'fire and rehire' something the company denies.
Senior National Organiser Garry Elliot told Manx Radio they were taken aback by the strength of feeling among members and maintain the Steam Packet is being disingenuous:
