Awaiting assessment by medical teams
A 20 year old disabled man who had been waiting a month for a vital operation has been flown to Liverpool.
The case of Nathaniel Torin was highlighted by his mother, Diane, earlier this week.
She was getting desperate about the situation, as Nathaniel was critically ill and it was decided the procedure couldn't be carried out on the Island.
However, Nathaniel is now on a ward at the Royal Liverpool Hospital, where his condition is stable and he's awaiting medical assessment tomorrow morning, with hopes the procedure can take place shortly afterwards.
Mother Diane has thanked all those who have helped make it possible, including Health Minister Kate Beecroft, Director of Nursing Cathy Quine and the doctors, nurses and health care assistants involved in Nathaniel's care.
