Union still in talks with the department
The NASUWT is hopeful that the new education minister will work with teaching unions on the Island.
Local Negotiating Secretary Geraldine O'Neill told Manx Radio they're still in talks with the department which will now be headed by Daphne Caine.
It follows the sacking of former minister Julie Edge last week:
