NAHT continues industrial action

Union claims of solidarity

Thirty out of thirty-two primary school headteachers continued industrial action this week, refusing to attend a meeting with the education department.

Senior education leaders met at Mount Murray Golf Club yesterday for the termly assembly, where members of the NAHT gave out leaflets at the gates informing people of the reasons behind the lack of attendance. 

Designed so as to not impact teaching in schools, the action comes during the ongoing dispute with the Department of Education, Sport and Culture over terms, conditions, and pay.
