Family 'very, very grateful' for donations towards emergency services
A fundraiser started by the family of Jamie Barrow to thank the emergency services and other agencies that helped looked for him has surpassed its target tenfold.
The Ramsey man's body was found at sea two weeks after he disappeared from his home in September.
Starting the fundraiser last week, they originally hoped £1000 could be raised - after 72 hours the total has climbed above £10,000.
Jamie's Cousin, Fay Lloyd-Howell, says her 'jaw hit the floor' when she saw the amount:
An inquest into Jamie's death opened at Douglas Courthouse yesterday morning.
His funeral is due to take place on Thursday.
