Experience uses 'silent disco' style headphones

The Manx Wildlife Trust is inviting children aged between five and nine - and their adults - to take part in an adventure through nature this summer.

A new 'Let's Get Wild!' show, co-created by Hello Little People, David Kilgallon, youth collaborators and students from Laxey and Kewaigue Primary Schools, has been funded by a grant from the Manx Lottery Trust.

The 'audio immersive' experience sees participants take part by listening through silent disco style headphones.

Manx Wildlife Trust's Team Wilder Coordinator, Lucy Chapman, says the fun doesn't end when the 30-minute show finishes:

The upcoming tour dates are:

  • Sunday, 4 August - Peel Carnival
  • Tuesday, 6 August - Strand Street, Douglas
  • Wednesday, 28 August - Mooragh Park, Ramsey
  • Thursday, 29 August - Market Square, Castletown
