Pet stolen from garden
A Douglas mum is asking for the public’s help to reunite her son with his beloved pet tortoise – after thieves stole the pet from its enclosure.
Louise Gelling says the tortoise was in her garden on Tuesday morning when thieves broke into her enclosure and took her.
There are strict laws governing tortoises, which can’t be sold without special paperwork.
Paula says the loss of his best friend has devastated her little boy:
If you have any information about the theft you can contact police on 631212.
