Loganair to operate twice daily service to Liverpool from Thursday
Talks with airlines over the future of the Island's Manchester and Birmingham flights are ongoing.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer revealed Loganair is to provide two daily flights to Liverpool from Thursday this week on an interim basis.
The route was prioritised so more seats are available for patients travelling to Merseyside for medical appointments.
However, Mr Harmer says work to reinstate other routes continues:
