Annual festival draws to close
The curtain is down on the 2018 Manx Music, Speech and Dance Festival, more commonly known as the Guild.
Bass singer Paul Costain took the prestigious Cleveland Medal for the second time, having first won the prize in 2016.
Meanwhile King William's College pupil Evan Darroch took the Sheffield Plate for best young performer.
Judges have praised the quality of entrants in this year's festival, which saw some new classes alongside traditional ones.
Manx Radio's Judith Ley will be back with a final review of the Guild on Sundown at 9pm.
Mr Costain says his day job on the farm is what makes him want to sing:
Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
