36 hour closure next weekend
The Department of Infrastructure says the Mountain Road will close for two days next weekend while it carries out work.
The route will shut at 6pm on Saturday, July 23 and it’s planned to keep it closed until 6am on Monday, July 25.
The department says all vehicle access will be prevented between Barrule Park and the Creg ny Baa.
If the weather means the work can’t be done, it will be postponed until the following weekend.
