Closure to be lifted midday Wednesday at the earliest
The Mountain Road is to stay closed until at least midday tomorrow (8 January) following further snowfall overnight.
The Department of Infrastructure says snowploughs and gritters are currently operating along the route.
The Beinn Y Phott and Tholt Y Will roads are also closed.
A yellow weather warning, issued on Monday for ice and wintry showers, has now come to an end.
