Highway had previously shut due to poor weather conditions
The Mountain Road has reopened this morning (30 November) following an overnight closure.
The highway was shut in its entirety last night (29 November) due to previous poor weather conditions.
Whilst it had been gritted during the day on Saturday, Isle of Man Constabulary says this had been ineffective due to the volumes of snow and freezing temperatures.
Police are thanking members of the public for their understanding whilst the road was closed.
