It was closed since Thursday morning
The Mountain Road has re-opened, after inspections were carried out earlier this morning.
It was closed early yesterday morning (18 January) after snow hit much of the Isle of Man.
Numerous roads were affected by significant ice prompting some bus routes to be disrupted also.
At the time, an amber warning was put in place for snow and ice, this was reduced to a yellow warning this morning, before being lifted at 12pm.
