Highway shut in its entirety this evening (29 Nov)
The Mountain Road has been closed in its entirety due to poor weather.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says the decision has been made due to 'worsening conditions' during this afternoon and this evening.
Officers add whilst gritting was carried out during the day, this has not been effective due to the volume of snow and freezing conditions.
No further details as to when the highway may reopen have been given at this time.
