Rider taken to hospital with serious injuries
Police say the Mountain Road will remain closed this afternoon (Tues) following an accident.
A rider has been taken to hospital with what are described as serious injuries.
Officers are carrying out collision investigations and it's expected the road will be closed until at least 4pm.
Drivers are being asked to take an alternative route between the north of the Island and Douglas.
