Motorists advised to move cars from Bottleneck

Strong waves have shifted kerbstones and parts of the surrounding pavement

Douglas City Council is advising anyone parked in the Bottleneck to move their cars as soon as it is safe to do so.

It says the car park may need to close, as it's had reports that strong waves have shifted kerbstones and parts of the surrounding pavement, putting parked vehicles at risk of damage.

An investigation is taking place.
