Warning comes as woodland is damaged
Motorcycle riders are being warned they could be prosecuted if they don’t stick to designated tracks.
It’s after fresh damage was caused to newly planted woodland in Ohio Plantation in Sulby.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it’s an offence to stray from byways and greenway roads into woodlands or onto open heathland.
It’s also reminding people that this time of year is a ‘sensitive’ time for wildlife - especially ground nesting birds and it’s an offence to disturb them.
