Police investigation after Ramsey incident
Police are investigating after a stranger in Ramsey allegedly asked a child to get in his car.
Officers say they want to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience.
It's after an incident on Saturday.
Speaking to Manx Radio the boy’s mother claimed her son tried to evade the man but he was followed.
She spoke to Chanelle Sukhoo:
A spokesperson for the Isle of Man Constabulary told Manx Radio: "We understand the concerns of anxious parents following Manx Radio's story.
"We would like to reassure the public that we know the identity of the person involved and there are no grounds to believe that the male is a threat to children.
"He himself is a vulnerable adult with special needs and we are working with our partners at Manx Care to make sure his welfare is properly supported.”
