Colorectal procedures worst affected
Manx patients waiting for colorectal surgery have been worst affected by cancellations over the last 12 months.
Figures revealed by the Department of Health and Social Care show more than 3,600 procedures have been cancelled in the last year.
Those cancellations included 821 colorectal procedures, 489 general medicine operations and 379 in general surgery.
More than 900 across all branches of medicine were cancelled the day before they were scheduled to take place, with a further 139 cancelled on the day.
