Minister still believes initiative can help improve local economy
The Department for Enterprise says over 1,400 Love IOM cards were sold between December and January, an investment sum of £50,000.
Cards went on sale from November last year before the scheme launched fully in January as an initiative to boost local businesses - particularly among the food and beverage industry.
Enterprise Minister Dr Alex Allinson maintains the card's weekday offer, and other promotions, which provide special discounts for dining or buying products which will boost the economy:
